Four Butter begins with a simple question: why should one of the most-used things in our bathroom feel like an afterthought?

Our underarms move with us all day. They meet clothes, razors, warm weather, busy mornings. Yet the care we give them often starts and ends with a quick swipe on the way out.

We wanted to make that little moment feel more considered. A creamy texture. A comforting glide. Ingredients with a clear purpose. Deodorant that earns its place beside the skincare you already love.

That’s the idea behind Four Butter: everyday odor care built around the feeling of nourished skin. Simple enough to become a habit. Lovely enough to look forward to.

02 / The heart of the formula

Four butters.
Each with a purpose.

Our name is our starting point. Coconut, shea, cocoa, and mango bring different textures to a base designed to soften skin and spread comfortably.

01 / Coconut

The smooth beginning.

Coconut oil lends slip to the blend, helping it spread across skin. As an emollient, it helps soften the skin’s feel and contributes to that easy, melting glide.

Cocos nucifera oil

A little extra comfort.

Rich shea butter brings a cushioning texture. Its emollient qualities help leave dry-feeling skin softer and make the formula feel comforting as you smooth it on.

The velvety middle.

Cocoa butter gives the blend richness and body. It helps condition skin and contributes to the soft, protective feel of the butter base.

A softer finish.

Made from the mango seed, mango butter adds another layer of emollient softness. It helps balance the texture of the richer butters for a smooth finish.

03 / Care meets function

Soft on the skin.
Thoughtful about odor.

The butters create the feel. The rest of the formula gives each jar and stick its everyday purpose.

Bare Unscented Four Butter deodorant cream — Four butters + two minerals.

Magnesium hydroxide

A mineral ingredient used in our deodorant system to help manage odor. It also acts as a pH adjuster in cosmetic formulas.

Zinc ricinoleate

An odor-absorbing ingredient derived from ricinoleic acid, a fatty acid found in castor oil. It helps capture odor molecules, complementing the scent of your chosen formula.

The supporting ingredients

Arrowroot powder helps absorb moisture for a drier feel. Beeswax gives the blend body; stearic acid and cetyl alcohol help with structure and texture. Cetyl alcohol is a fatty alcohol used for its softening qualities.

Deodorant, made for everyday movement.

We build our deodorant around butters and an odor-care mineral blend. Leaving out baking soda gives people who prefer to avoid it another option for their routine.

Warm, fresh, earthy, or fragrance-free: choose the experience you enjoy. Bare Unscented is our option for those who prefer no added fragrance.

Soft skin isn’t a gendered category. Our scents and formats are made to be chosen by preference, not by a label telling you who you should be.

05 / A moment for yourself

Scoop. Warm.
Smooth. Go.

For our creams, start with a small, pea-sized amount. Warm it between clean fingers, then smooth a thin layer onto clean, dry underarms. Let it settle before dressing.

Prefer a stick? Push up gently and apply a light layer. Reapply as needed for your day.

Everyone’s skin is different. Try a small area first, avoid broken or irritated skin, and stop using the product if irritation develops. Natural ingredients and fragrance can still cause sensitivity.
